Wish me luck....so much luck!1) I need you to wish me luck in a Google competition im part-taking in. It's called 'Doodle 4 Google- My Britain'. I'm against approximately 10 MILLION schoolchildren in the UK! The point of this competition is to show a child's (aged 4-18) view on today's Britain....could be interesting ne?
Now, my Art teacher has already told me she'll be entering my doodle, which i'm pleased about, cause i really want a Google goody bag (wouldn't mind the main prize to go to the Googleplex either though).....that sounds so sad doesnt it? I really don't see though, how i can win anything against 10million entries. My art teacher however seems to disagree and thinks i'll win the whole competition! The comp also puts me in a tight spot because one of best friends' is being entered too. >< WISH ME LUCK ANYWAY!!!
2) I will also soon be part-taking in the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award (something along those lines). I hope to be entering twice, one poem which i have written at home and one which my english teacher will enter on my behalf. The prize for this isn't nearlly as great, but it would be a huge moral booster cause i think my poetry is usually really bad. Again, i don't think i'll win the whole thing, but i might get something! (Who am i kidding?)
I'll be posting all my entries here on devvy (although my Google one's been sent off so you'll have to make do with the origional design) so you can judge them for yourselves!
But i still need more luck because just last week i took part in my SAT examinations. What a surprisingly undaunting task that was, but as always with me, the nerves kick in after i've done whatever it is i'm doing >< So i would like it if you could wish me luck in my results too, which are given out in July.....i think ^^'
